You can be cheering on Doncaster Rovers, Doncaster Rugby League Club and Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies Football Club who all play at the Eco-Power Stadium. Alternatively, there’s a choice of sports and leisure facilities, including JD Gyms Doncaster, Armthorpe Leisure Centre and Doncaster Dome which is one of the region's premier sports, leisure & entertainment destinations. There’s simply so much to see and do in the area. The kids will love Go Bounce Extreme Trampoline Park, Yorkshire Wildlife Park and Hatfield Water Park with its aquapark. They’ll also enjoy doing the quiz trail and feeding the ducks at Lakeside. For a high-flying time try South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum or for something more relaxing go to Cusworth Hall, Museum and Park, described as a jewel in Doncaster's crown.  And for beautiful Yorkshire countryside, there’s Melton Wood Country Park ideal for wildlife spotting in tranquillity.  

Convenient for commuting
Travelling for work or pleasure is a breeze. By car, Doncaster city centre is less than 10 minutes away, while Scunthorpe is under half an hour and Thorne is only 15-minutes down the road. Plus, with quick and easy access to the M18, going further afield is every bit as convenient.
Train travel is just as simple and straightforward with Doncaster Station only 10-minutes away. From here you can be in Sheffield or Leeds in half an hour, or London in under 2 hours.

Another great way to travel using public transport is by bus. Frequent services run from just outside Edenhill Gardens. So, you can hop on one and be in the centre of Doncaster or one of the nearby villages before you know it

Shared Ownership

Buying a home is a big decision and one that requires a large investment. If you’re struggling to get onto the property ladder due to all the associated costs, a scheme such as shared homeownership could help make owning your dream home a reality.

The shared ownership scheme lowers the cost of buying a new property, making it easier for first-time buyers to get onto the property ladder.

How it works

Shared home ownership works through a housing association; you buy into a share of your home, usually between 25% and 75%, and then pay rent on the remaining amount.

With the shared ownership scheme, you are part buying and part renting a leasehold home. This means your lease gives you the right to occupy the home for a much longer period than with traditional renting. Usually, the lease on a leasehold ownership property is 99 or 125 years, but this doesn’t mean you’re tied to the home for this extended period – the home can still be bought or sold during this time. This gives you the freedom to sell and move if needed, but the additional assurance of owning part of your home and maintaining the rights to live there over a prolonged period.

With shared ownership, you still need a mortgage to purchase a share, however, as you’re not paying towards the full cost of the house, the amount of money you need for your deposit will be a lot lower.
